#47 Tim Don (english)

On this first international episode of the Endörphin Podcast, I couldn’t be happier to welcome a very special guest. It’s not only because he’s a very nice guy, athlete, father and husband. Also because he’s been swimming, cycling and running for the past 26 years, have been a JR world champion, three times Olympian and won several races, including a handfull of 70.3, some of them here in Brazil and in since 2017, protagonized two of the most impressive recent stories in the sport of triathlon. Tim Don set a WR of 7h40’23” for an IM distance event, the fastest ever, right here at the IM Brazil. A few months after, only two days before Kona, he was hit by a car while riding his bike, causing a severe neck vertebrae injury that almost could have put him aside forever. He decided not to give up. Instead, he chose the hard path for a higher chance of racing again. He chose the halo and today, only a few days before his comeback at the World Championships in Kona, he’s set to write a new chapter in triathlon history. Please give it up, for Tim Don!

Enjoy!
